JOB SUMMARY

Under limited supervision, this position is supportive in the performance of a wide range of diverse administrative support duties. The Sr. Administrative Assistant provides support to members of the Executive Team with calendar management, travel arrangement and more. The incumbent is required to screen and triage incoming calls, schedule a high volume of complex internal / external meetings, assist with a variety of office procedures and special projects, and assumes cross coverage responsibilities.  This position mentors/assists with training of all SFHCP Administrative Assistants.  May be required to develop and complete special projects, as assigned. Demonstrates a positive, cooperative working environment and team approach. Works closely with new employees to the department. Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office is required.  Maintains strict confidentiality of all departmental information.

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education:            Associate’s Degree in computer sciences or healthcare field preferred, or other related work experience.

Experience:           3 years of administrative assistant level experience in a fast-paced, corporate or healthcare office environment.

Licensure:             None.

Certification:        None.

Skills:                     Proficient in the use of desktop/Microsoft office suite products. Must have exemplary customer service skills, and be well-organized.  Possess high degree of judgment, discretion and knowledge of organizational procedures.  Ability to work with minimal supervision.
